Exclamation Unanswered: Get the value of Primary Key based on the value entered into a login form

I am using dreamweaver to develop a simple database driven website.

On the login page the user has to key credential to go to specific page. What I want to do is to extract the PK of the record in which the user details are found. For example:

    USERID(PK): 1, UserName: ABC, AccCode: 123

Once the user keyed ABC and 123 and pressed the submit button, I want the PK to also be passed to the next page to display related information.

    Thank you.

that is not a MySQL issue.. thats down to your application software.
if it were PHP you could use a session cookie
in standard HTML you could pass the token as part of the parameters as key+ value pairs

    eg
    http://mypage.html?token1=abc&token2=123
I'd rather be riding on the Tiger 800 or the Norton
