    Unanswered: Capturing database changes

I have a requirement whrein I need to capture changes to any database value/record as in update or insert.
The captured data needs to be sent to an Elastic server.

So the question is what are possible ways to capture changes to data and the updated data ?

I googled and came across names like - oracle streams and change notification.
I want to know am I on right path ? or there are some other simpler/better ways to do it ?
if you suggest some way, will there be performance issues or any other sort of issues I need to know before finalizing the approach.

    Thanks.

    Oracle Changed Data Capture
You can lead some folks to knowledge, but you can not make them think.
The average person thinks he's above average!
For most folks, they don't know, what they don't know.
Good judgement comes from experience. Experience comes from bad judgement.
