    Unanswered: ACL Creation

    Hello everyone,
    I'm new to PostgreSQL and trying to understand access rights regarding application configuration.
    The PostGreSQL administrator created a database where when I logged in as a user through PgAdmin
    I saw the following under ACL {"=Tc/\"pg-talend-dev\"","\"pg-talend-dev\"=CTc/\"pg-talend-dev\"","\"svc-tld-dm\"=CTc/\"pg-talend-dev\""}
    This database interacted properly with the application.
    Other databases without this ACL wouldn't allow schema creation through the application.
    Can anyone touch on this case?
    Any good books or white papers that would explain ACL and there effects on applications?

    Regards,
    Jonathan

    The manual would be a good start:

    http://www.postgresql.org/docs/curre...QL-GRANT-NOTES
    I will not read nor answer questions where the SQL code is messy and not formatted properly using [code] tags: http://www.dbforums.com/misc.php?do=bbcode#code
