Unanswered: Concentate fields for mailing address from a query

    So . . .

All of these fields are in a separate columns

Owner Name (on first line in the 8x10 envelope report)
Mail Address (on second line in the 8x10 envelope report)

    [Mail Address City] & " ," & [Mail Address State] & "," & [Mail address Zip+4] . . . needs to be on one 3rd line in the report!

My query keeps flagging [Mail Address State] enter parameter value???

Can't find the answer but I'll keep looking.

    Thanks . . . Rick

Okay I found it. The query was using data from the wrong table.

    Thanks . . . Rick

Whenever you see enter parameter promot when running a query it means the SQL engine cannot find the column you specified inside the square brackets. Access / JET also uses square brackets to delimit a prompt for user input. So if the column is not found in any of the tables in the query it presumes you want to ask the user for a parameter when you run the query.

So check the spelling of any tables and any columns in any query where you hit thus problem
I'd rather be riding on the Tiger 800 or the Norton
