    Unanswered: Screensaver Freezes Screen

I hope someone has run into this weird problem before.

A procedure reads through a data file and updates a database table. The file can have a few thousand records. Results are written to a form on screen.

A few minutes after the program begins, the computer's screensaver runs.

The problem is that when I close the screensaver and see the application screen, the form no longer displays updates. It appears to be frozen.

The underlying program still runs, but it no longer displays text on the form.

This did not happen until MS Access 13.

In theory, one could turn off the screensaver before running the program. However, the goal is to handle the problem without resorting to outside action.

Some web page said that periodic calls to SendKeys will not help because it does not send a real keypress interrupt to the operating system.

Any ideas on how to tweak the code to keep the screen from freezing up after the screensaver would be greatly appreciated.
