Question Unanswered: Long Text Only Giving 255 characters

I have a long text box on my form. It's populated when a choice from a combo box is selected. Unfortunately, it's only returning 255 characters and tunicates the rest. I have it set to rich text, and can grow. Am I missing something? The table is also set to long text. I have searched and found issues, but no resolutions on the web. Any help is appreciated!

A text box should be able to enter > 255 if bound to a memo box.
When you query a memo field, you will only get 255 characters. (thanks Microsoft)
But you can export from the table and get all the text.

And just to clarify, 'Long Text' is what the Wizards of Redmond now call what have been, since the beginning, Memo Fields! Why they feel the need to change things as basic as the names of Datatypes I have no idea!

Allen Browne explains the phenomena of Memo Field truncation here:

    Hope this helps!

The problem with making anything that fools are so darn ingenious!
