Question Unanswered: Licensing for DB2 HADR ROS

    Hi,
We have V10.5 instances currently running with HADR. We are bit confused if we need any additional licenses for using ROS. Will there be additional costs for that.
Both the primary and standby have full licenses for Advanced ESE.

    $ db2licm -l
Product name: "DB2 Advanced Enterprise Server Edition"
    License type: "CPU Option"
    Expiry date: "Permanent"
    Product identifier: "db2aese"
    Version information: "10.5"
    Enforcement policy: "Soft Stop"

    Product name: "InfoSphere Federation Server"
    License type: "CPU"
    Expiry date: "Permanent"
    Product identifier: "isfs"
    Version information: "10.5"
    Concurrent connectors policy: "Disabled"
    Enforcement policy: "Soft Stop"

    Thanks in advance

    Hi,

Federation is not available on standby.
So, you don't need any additional licensing, since you already have full AESE licenses for both servers.
    Regards,
    Mark.
