    Unanswered: Cannot use ALTER LOGIN with the ENABLE or DISABLE argument for a Windows group

    Dear Team

    Seek your advice and suggestion on below error .When I tried to disable BUILTIN\ADMINISTRATOR


    USE [master]
    GO
    ALTER LOGIN [BUILTIN\Administrators] DISABLE
    GO

    Msg 33129, Level 16, State 1, Line 25
    Cannot use ALTER LOGIN with the ENABLE or DISABLE argument for a Windows group. GRANT or REVOKE the CONNECT SQL permission instead.


    SQL SERVER : SQL SERVER 2014 Standard Edition
    OPERATING SYSTEM : WINDOWS SERVER 2008




    Appreciate your kind assistance on this error/issue
