Unanswered: Facing space issue while restoring DB backup with automatic tablespaces
Need an urgent help for restoring a DB with Automatic tablespaces.
1. I have a backup image of DB ABC.
2. ABC DB size is around 200GB.
3. I have a file system '/abc' with space 1TB.
Now situation is, I have generated the script from the backup image. Now when I am trying to restore this backup image on /abc, My backup command is saying it completed successfully. But when I am trying to connect to connect the DB I am getting below error:
SQL0752N Connecting to a database is not permitted within a logical unit of
work when the CONNECT type 1 setting is in use.
Output of restore log file is like below (for continue part):
RESTORE DATABASE ABC CONTINUE
SQL1277W A redirected restore operation is being performed. During a table
space restore, only table spaces being restored can have their paths
reconfigured. During a database restore, storage group storage paths and DMS
table space containers can be reconfigured.
DB20000I The RESTORE DATABASE command completed successfully.
My doubt is its happening because of space issue.
