Answered: MySQL header file mysql.h not found

I'm trying to install a Sourceforge package called Rexx/SQL on Linux Mint 17.3 and get this from the configure script . . .

Searched the file system for the file, but it isn't there.

I then installed the MySQL source, but there's no header file in there either.

Don't know how to proceed. Any ideas?
