Arrow Answered: DB size consideration while restore

I'm going to restore a large database to new system. They are looking for file system size. Here is my database size and capacity. Which one do we need to consider DBSIZE or DBCAPACITY ?

    Parameter Name : SNAPSHOTTIMESTAMP
    Parameter Value : 2016-07-19-10.55.38.504250

    Parameter Name : DATABASESIZE
    Parameter Value : 1523272433664 ----------- > 1.4TB

    Parameter Name : DATABASECAPACITY
    Parameter Value : 2498992865280 ------------ > 2.2 TB

    Return Status = 0

DATABASESIZE = sum (used_pages * page_size) for each table space (SMS & DMS)
DATABASECAPACITY= SUM (DMS usable_pages * page size) + SUM (SMS container size + file system free size per container).

    "DATABASESIZE of course.
But you should add some additional size to this value like space for logs, system temporary which can grow and shrink if it's a SMS tablespace."
