Unanswered: Creating router service to serve between multiple clustered servers
I'm a business analyst on a project looking to move our infrastructure to AWS or Azure. I could use some guidance as this is my first architecture project. Please note that I'll have multiple developers, system admins and DBAs working on this project, but I'm trying to get some information before we begin...
Does anyone know about a 3rd party routing service that can do the following? If not, any suggestions on how to get started?
Assigns incoming data to a web server in the cloud (AWS/Azure)
If a server is overloaded, it notifies the "routing service" to assign to a different server
When the web server is done for the day, the "routing service" will migrate all the information on that web server to a master database to be stored
The goal is to scale as needed. Any suggestions on software or next steps?
