Am a neophyte to DB sutff and have been tasked with finding software to use
Recently I was hired as a DBA for a small software company and I've been asked by higher ups to seek out software for our organization. All they've told me is that they need something to store upwards of 100 TB of data, specifically small numbers in a large number of rows, with access as fast as possible. This is really all they seem to be concerned about. Some have suggested I look at noSQL stuff like Apache Cassandra if performance is a key concern. Might I be able to solicit some further advice about how to approach this?
