Hi all,

I am installing Oracle 11.2 in SUSE Linux server and during installation I am facing MEMORY_TARGET error.

the size of shm in server is,
Filesystem Size Used Avail Use% Mounted on
tmpfs 190G 120G 70G 64% /dev/shm

The size of kernel.shmmax is ( as per the installation guide https://docs.oracle.com/cd/E11882_01...112/e47689.pdf ),
$ more /proc/sys/kernel/shmmax

but during installation at the prerequisite check fails with the below error, ( refer image for more info. )
This is a prerequisite condition to test whether the OS kernel parameter "shmmax" is properly set. (more details)
Expected Value : 536870912
Actual Value : 0
