Unanswered: Modifying reports written in P4.5 for additional usese in P10 in W10

Hi, Pardon my ignorance but I have been using Paradox as a 'Home and Student' User for 20 years and need to modify reports written with P4.5 and its printed manuals. I can get data into report forms but cannot rearrange it, specifically into conventional address labels. It comes out in lines. Where can I find the guidance I now need please?

sorry, don't know how I missed this post.. as you can see from the replies to almost every other post, the real paradox support is at thedbcommunity.com, not here

4.5 dos reports, or 4.5 win reports? the underlying concepts are about the same, but implementing them is sometimes a bit different..

Many thanks for your reply, especially re new location of forum (My previous post did generate some spam).

Win reports. In the meanwhile, I have made progress in two directions. A) I have managed by trial and error to create new .rsl files using the later form of Paradox although I have not yet fathomed how to edit existing .rsl files: (Much easier creation process than before). I have however succeeded in editing .db files to take advantage of the vastly greater storage capacity available on modern hdd and RAM sizes (now 16Gb compared with the 4Mb when I created the original files!). And B) I found a secondhand tutorial on Paradox 8 on eBay.

To say the least, it is unfortunate that the inbuilt Paradox Help routine involves an MS application which is not supported by Windows 10.

    Thank you again

yeah, dbforums activity generates a little bit of spam.. it's still minor, compared to most places..

forms, reports, scripts, should all be the same.. file/open/whatever, and right under the filename box there's a radio button, change it to "edit the whatever"
