Unanswered: Packages not getting created after import

    Hi All,

I did export/import of production db in local test server using db2look and db2move. After the import count of tables and indexes and sequence are matching with production. However other DB objects such as procedure, function and trigger did not got imported.I tried to create the procedures manually by extracting the ddl from db2look file and running in sql prompt. However the query is stuck for hours and no error messages. When I googled I found out that the packages needs to be rebinded in new DB.I tired rebinding the packages, but it did not work. Please guide me in importing the packages, functions, procedures and triggers.

    DB2 version is DB2 v9.7.0.3 Fix Pack "3a".

    Thanks,
    Aswin

    Hi Aswin,

    Which exactly query stuck?
Do you see any lock waits in the database from another session?
What appears in the db2diag.log file when the query stuck?
    Regards,
    Mark.

    Hi Mark,

I have extracted one procedure creation ddl from db2look.out and run it manually. That is stuck.I am attaching the db2top screenshot,db2diag capture and the ddl statement which is getting stuck.

    Thank you

    Hi Aswin,

Looks like a bug. Try to install the latest fixpack and retry.

BTW, according to SQLCODE -284 in the db2diag.log you have some of the SYSTOOLS* tablespaces of not expected type.
What's the output of the following command for your database?
    db2 list tablespaces
    Regards,
    Mark.
