    Unanswered: Help with Relationships...

    Hallo,

I'm a darter and I want to create a database for our team, but I don't know how to connect the tables.

    TABLES:

    TEAMS: TeamId, TeamName, Division
    DIVISIONS : DivisionId, Division
    PLAYERS: PlayerId, FirstName, LastName, Team
    SCORES: ScoreId, Player, Leg1, Leg2, Leg3...

I want to keep track of the finishes per Leg, per person. And then I want the MAX finish per Player and in Total. I don't know weither to create a seperate table for keeping those results or add a column to a table... abd how to connect them...

    Please help!

    Looking OK

but I would do something like

    Drop the Score Table

    Leg (tableName)
    LegID PK
    DivisonID FK
PDate (date it was played just make it easy to group the Legs)
    Leg (1,2,3....)
    PlayerID Fk
    VplayerID FK from Player table
    p1 (playerID score)
    P2 (VplayerID Score)

Then you can write a Query to TRANSFORM Pvoit the on the Leg to get your leg1,leg2,leg3 ....
    hope this help
