Unanswered: Problems after migrating from 9.7 to 10.5

    Hi,

after migration from 9.7 to 10.5 Fixpack 5 we have problems that the instance is going down.
A process named "flush-253:24" causes very high cpu consumption so that the db2 does not react anymore.
The load average of the machine is by 180,93!

    We are using centos 6.5

    Can anyone help us?

There are reasons why the paid support channel of IBM does not support DB2 on Centos.
    What investigations have you done?
What Linux and DB2 tuning did you perform after you migrated to V10.5 ?
What kind of skills at problem-determination are available at your site, have you engaged suitably skilled people ?

Sorry, the OS is redhat 6.5 and not centos, it was my mistake
We haven't perform any tuning measures after the migration.
We have system and database administrators at our side.

Time to ask the DBAs to justify their salary then...seems like an elementary matter for any competent DBA to diagnose.
