Looking for advice on installing Windows 7 32-bit on a new computer

I use MIDI and other software that is compatible with Windows 7 32-bit. I like the software and do
not want to be forced to use new alternatives with a new computer. My interest is to
purchase a desktop (Dell or ASUS) with i7 processor, format the harddisk and install
    separately purchased Win 7 32-bit. I currently have a family-shared laptop, and
prefer to have my own PC for music, hobbies, programming, and use of the internet.

Any thoughts about whether or not this O/S installation scheme would work?
    Thanks.

Why you are going to use Windows 7 right now? Because updates version Windows 10 is available on the market. You can try for it.

My last new PC laptop came with Window 7 64 bit and it would not run run old software. Installing Win 7 32 bit fixed that.
I am assuming my next desktop replacement PC with Windows 10 will have the same issue. It has been ordered.
The plan is to add my old Pentium 4 hard disk with Win 7 32 bit to the new PC and have a dual-boot option.
