Unanswered: Nesting a dimension within another dimension in a query

    Hi everyone,

I'm trying to nest a time dimension within another dimension - I have users for whom I need to run a series of calculations through time (each). I haven't been able to connect the two dimensions successfully yet, and haven't found any useful material online. Does anyone know how to connect two different dimensions like this? I've tried splitting it into two steps - creating the User_ID dimension, and then adding the time dimension (from another source) in a second query, but I just blank out the User_ID in the second query (as shown in the images), probably because I haven't defined a link between them (which I don't know how to do).

What I want to do is have for each User_ID, the query run through every time period before moving onto the next user.. Anyone have a idea? Thanks

Sorted it out, the solution was apparently so simple no one had bothered asking about it.. :/
