    Exclamation Unanswered: Sql1753n

    Hi everyone,

    I have a problem. I've added db partition node 2 without tablespaces, then i create database partition groups, it showed me this error "
    DB21034E The command was processed as an SQL statement because it was not a valid Command Line Processor command. During SQL processing it returned:
    SQL1753N Database partition "2" does not have containers for all the system temporary table spaces defined in the database partition group IBMTEMPGROUP.
    SQLSTATE=57052
    "

    How can i resolve this error, i looking for on Google, but i have no idea for " ALTER TABLESPACE " statement. Please help me, give me ALTER TABLESPACE statement !!!

    Thanks and Regard !

    Hi,

    For dms system temporary
    ALTER TABLESPACE mytempspace ADD (FILE 'full_path_to_the_file' xxxG) ON DBPARTITIONNUM (2)

    For sms system temporary:
    ALTER TABLESPACE mytempspace ADD ('full_path_to_the_catalog') ON DBPARTITIONNUM (2)

    All these paths must be writable for the db2 instance owner.
    Regards,
    Mark.

    Your system temporary is of SMS type. So, you have to execute the command like my 2-nd one.
    Regards,
    Mark.
