Unanswered: DB2 restore with different backup image name

    Hello DBA's,

Got an interesting doubt today, tried to find out in google but didn't got any solution but did not got any response. So here is my question:

For restoring a backup image in DB2, the backup image name should be of pattern : ABC.0.abc.DBPART000.20160922154244.001

But if we have a backup image having name other then that like for example ABC, So is it possible to restore that backup image?

    DB2 info : DB2 V10.5
    Env Linux

    Thanks in advance
    Regards

Why don't you rename the image to the same name that the *original* DB2-backup command created ?
