Unanswered: ONLINE BACKUP time increased ~10times after moving all containers from disk to NFS

On AIX7.1 DB2 V10.5FP3, we noticed ONLINE BACKUP time increased ~10times after moving all containers from local disk to NFS drive ( backup location is local disk). This happens for both commands below.
cmd : backup db test online incremental to <local disk> COMPRESS include logs
backup db test online incremental delta to <local disk> COMPRESS include logs

Any tips on tuning or any specific config to be checked for NFS?

Never put database containers on nfs is my performance suggestion. Why would you do that?

Can you give details of the NFS? i.e. is the provider one of the supported appliances etc, its version, the mount settings for the file-system, and what AIX and NFS tuning were performed?
