    Answered: Unexpected error 35012

    Hello,

    Hoping someone can help me out here.

    I get this message when opening Access extesion file "Unexpected error 35012".
    How to stop this annoying error?

    I am running Windows 10
    My Laptop is Lenovo IdeaPad Y700-15AC
    Microsoft Office 2010

    Your help/advice will be great appreciated.

    usually if the bug is in vb code, you can debug it on the spot.
    but you have a bad value in a property, they are a royal pain to locate.

    if a form opens at the start, this could be the culprit.
    try opening the access file holding the shift key. This turns off automation. See if the error occurs.
    if not, examine the startup form, check all properties and events for possible bad settings.
    check for bad REFERENCES. in VBE menu, tools , references. Look for any checked items labeled as MISSING

    this is similar to an Easter egg hunt. Good luck.
