Answered: DB2 v11.1 LUW Federated Links to Oracle

    Hi All,

Can someone please help me with an idea how to create wrapper for Oracle in DB2 v11.1?

I have tried to search/find RCON package, which I could not find anywhere. The most recent package available for download (trial) is for v10.5.
Did IBM deprecate RCON in 11.1 ?
What are the alternatives if so ?

    Regards

    "Hi,

Federation functionality should be included into the base 11.1 package.
    See the following item:

    Thanks Mark,

Yes I see, it says it has the support for Oracle databases also, but the way I am aware of was running djxlinkOracle to link it. I did not find that script in the Advanced Enterprise Server Edition as it is installed.

Could not find any procedure document to set it up without djxlinkOracle script.

Anyone has any idea? please help!
