Unanswered: how to capture the agent ID that is causing pagin

    Environment : DB2 V10.5 DPF [PDOA]
7 physical nodes and 65 logical partitions

Question: Paging space on all the cluster of servers is going up. We know that it is because of one job but we are unable to identify that job. What is the best way to track it down as to which agent ID is causing the paging space spike.

On a highlevel when I took a look all the current memory areas, I found out that FCMBP high water mark has spiked up. So some agent ID caused fcmbp to spike up...

This issue is going to happen again. Is there a way I can put some monitoring continuously to track down the culprit agent ?

    Thanks!

I'm posting just so I'll know whenever someone else answers to this problem. Thanks!

Been quite awhile since I had to do this on LUW, but isn't that what GET SNAPSHOT and DB2TOP are for?

Run the following periodically (let's say, once per minute):
    Code:
    insert into my_memory_tracker
    select
      current timestamp ts, p.member
    , coalesce(a.application_handle, p.application_handle) application_handle
    , p.memory_pool_type
    , p.edu_id
    , p.memory_pool_used, p.memory_pool_used_hwm
    , c.application_id, c.coord_member
    --, c.*
    from table(mon_get_memory_pool(null, current server, -2)) p
    left join table(wlm_get_service_class_agents(null, null, null, -2)) a on a.dbpartitionnum=p.member and a.agent_tid=p.edu_id
    left join table(mon_get_connection(null, -2)) c on c.application_handle=coalesce(a.application_handle, p.application_handle) and c.member=p.member
    ;
You may catch your memory spikes, if you are lucky
    Regards,
    Mark.

    Is the STMM parameter enabled.

DPF has issue with STMM and coz paging, we have logical DPF STMM caused spacing, IBM recommended to disable
