    Unanswered: Backup to network drive

Hello I have an issue with backing up to a network drive. I can back up but the issue is when I looked at how much data was backed up I get 0 KB?

    Code:
backup database SCAIR to disk = '\\ADMIN-SCAIR-5\SQL_Archives\SCAIR_BACKUPSept22_4:55AM.bak' with init

As the file is being written to, it may appear that the file is 0 Kb, because the final byte count has not been "committed" (not the right word for it in OS terms, but I am not sure of the exact term). Once the backup is completed, the file system should reflect the correct byte count. Can you do a RESTORE HEADERONLY from the file?

    Code:
restore headeronly from disk = '\\ADMIN-SCAIR-5\SQL_Archives\SCAIR_BACKUPSept22_4:55AM.bak'
