    Answered: The necessary permissions

    hi,

I experience the problem in my Access document. Its not opening.

Saying: You do not have the necessary permissions to open this object.

The following were done to troubleshoot:

    - Control panel -> programs and features -> Microsoft office professional 2013 -> Change -> repair.

    - Updating Office 2013

Any of the above mentioned resolution did not work.

Please give me a solution soon as possible.

    was it passworded before?
If not, it could be a false error due to corruption.
    or
if you upgraded Access, the new version cannot read the database. (tho newer Access CAN read all older databases)
sometimes, editing an older db,(.mdb) in a newer Access (2010,13) , access will insert new code into the old db. Now the old access cannot read it.
