    Answered: Calling SP from trigger

    Hi all again

    How do I call a Stored Procedure from a trigger when i am using the call as follows
    Code:
    CALL DB2ADMIN.INSERT_INTO_HISTORY();
    But it doesn't like it;

    SQL0104N An unexpected token "CALL" was found following "DB"SQL BEGIN ATOMIC" ..... SQLSTATE=42601

    Thanks

    Hi,

    In DB2 for Workstations CALL is not yet supported in trigger bodies.

    If you procedure isn't too complex you will be able to move the logic into the trigger directly in the next V7 fixpack.

    Cheers Serge
