Unanswered: SQL Server and Merge Replication sleeping
Why is my server going to "sleeping" mode during merge
replication? This means, that data is not correctly being
replicated and the clients are in a different state with data.
The information from clients does not come replicated
properly, because the replication agent does not respond;
has to be manually shut down. What could cause this
behaviour? It seems to be happening more often with
fast Internet (ADSL) lines, modems do the work but
obviously they are slower. I'm puzzled, any ideas?
MS Sql Server is 7.0 SP3, the shield for replication is
coded with Visual Basic 6.0 / SP3 with oSQLMerge object.
