Unanswered: Importing text without carriage returns

I'm trying to import data from a text file (sample pasted below) and am having quite a bit of trouble getting it into Access. It just doesn't like the format I imagine. I believe the problems are:

    a) The introductory text, giving headings etc &
    b) The complete lack of carriage returns in the data.

Is there a way to make Access see the pattern in the data? It wouldn't be so bad if it were just one file, I'd just go through it manually or with a program. However I have over 4000 of these files, totalling 100mb. Has anyone encountered something like this before and solved it? I'm hoping you have

    Thanks very much.

Never done it myself, but here are suggestions/possible solutions

1.. Write a program to 'fix' and reformat all 4000 files files (can perhaps be done if they are all in one folder and the program scrolls through all of them)

2.. Import all files into Access (memo field) and, if the files are similar, write code to tear the text strings apart and dump individual header/date/numbers in a table

3.. Play around with different ways of importing data (perhaps you can correctly save away part of the data.

Hope this help.... other suggestions welcome
