    Unanswered: acces 97 & windows XP

    We just got a new computer with windows XP, I transferred all the access 97 files to it. Now I can't print reports in access. I keep getting the error message " Access can not find printer" I've done all the obvious stuff, default printer, reloaded software, nothing helps. Printer works fine, word and excell print fine also. Anybody got any suggestions?

    We expect to have a lot of conversion 'problems when we move from 97 to XP.
    Did you convert the databases to Access 2002?

    no, we are still using 97, I had to udate the driver on my Xerox 470cx workcenter printer to windows XP. that solved the problem.

    That will be a good tip for others who might encounter print problems
