Unanswered: Storing decimal number iin Access table

How do we store floating point numbers, i.e. decimal numbers in the Access table other than text format? When I stored it as a number with 2 decimal places, it gives an integer value and truncates the number after decimal.

You need to change the "field size" for the numeric datatype of the field in the table to "Single" or "Double" (depending on the values you expect).
