Unanswered: Merge replication: automatic identity ranges adjusting is not working
I have two MS SQL 2000 servers. And I try to setup merge replication bettween them. Because I'm already have data on primary server, DTS was used to copy data to the secondary server. Also, because of the existing data, I change identity columns in the each table as follows (for ex.): identity start - 10001 (primary server), 11001 - secondary server. Identity range is 1000. So, at the primary server (publisher) everything working fine, but at the subscriber during insert I has error "The identity range managed by replication is full and must be updated by a replication agent. The INSERT conflict occurred in database 'INPROM_COMMON', table 'PARTNERS_INFO', column 'PARTNER_ID'. Sp_adjustpublisheridentityrange can be called to get a new identity range.". I try to call Sp_adjustpublisheridentityrange - no changes. Where I'm wrong?
