    Question Unanswered: invalid syntax?

Hi, just trying to understand what's going on... I'm using Access 97 and since I've installed Access 2002 parallel to 97 I get the following error message in some of my queries.

In these queries I'm using the following criteria or similar, and it's still working ok:

    Like (IIf([Forms]![DevelopActivDialog]![ReportRange]=2,[Forms]![DevelopActivDialog]![empID],"*"))

But when I try to change something or add additional fields to my query, I get the following message:

The expression you entered contains invalid syntax. "You may have entered an operand without an operator"

So I can't really save any changes... Any suggestions?

    Thanks much,

The best bet would be to check query syntax.
