I have an Access 2000 Data Project that sits on top of a SQL 7 database.
The problem i am having is that when I (admin) import a spreadsheet into a table it works fine.
When my user (member of DataReader and DataWriter database roles) attempts to do the import, access puts a dbo. in front of the tbl name
ie the list of available tables has dbo.tblMyTable instead of tblMyTable when i see it.
when he selects dbo.tblMyTable to import into, access says that that is an invalid table name, but we are limited to list on the table drop down so cannot overwrite.
if i do it in code instead, the function runs but then creates a new tblMyTable under his user id.
I am sure this is simple, but cannot find an explanation anywhere for this.
