    Unanswered: Can't restore a v.5.2 backup. Error SQL2542N. Help please.

    I'm trying to restore a backup image made in a v.5.2 runnint in a NT system to another PC wiht the same configuration.
    I obtain always the same message:
    SQL2542N No match for a database image file was found based on the source database alias and timestamp provided.
    The command i'm using is:
    RESTORE DATABASE CRDO USER db2admin USING db2admin FROM 'C:\BACKUP\CRDO.0\DB2\NODE0000\CATN0000\20020226\' TAKEN AT '20020226081742' INTO CRDO;
    I think the timestam is correct because the name of the file is 081742.001

    Any help is welcome

    Thank you very much.

    Hi. Try issuing just:

    RESTORE DATABASE CRDO USER db2admin USING db2admin FROM 'C:\BACKUP\' TAKEN AT '20020226081742' INTO CRDO;

    Let me know if you already tried this or if it still errors.

    take it easy, Raj
