    Hi All,
Does anyone know, how to obtain the version information of DB2 installed using any API / SQL statement.

    Thanks in advance,

If you are using ADO, there are some properties for the Connection object that can satisfy your problem.
With an ADODB.Connection object open and a Client Access driver you can obtain the value of the next properties:
    objConnect.Properties("DBMS Version").Value
    objConnect.Properties("OLE DB Version").Value
    objConnect.Properties("Provider Version").Value
    objConnect.Properties("Driver Version").Value
    objConnect.Properties("Driver ODBC Version").Value

    just to enhance the info.

    Hi,
We have one more method to get the database Manager level.
Go to the installation directory\Program Files\SQLLIB\CFG
    and Use this command:

    db2licm -v db2udbee.lvl
