Unanswered: Access 2002 (or 97 or 2000) and SQL Server 2000
SQL Server 2000 Ent. (SP2) - where the data is intended to be - as a back-end - on NT4 Server (SP6).
Access 2002 as a front-end.
Windows (Server) authentication is used.
One of the Access tables is a table linked to an SQL Server table.
SOL Server table is "read", "write" and everything in between.
Users are authorised do do everything and yet, table on the Access side of the works is READ ONLY.
