Lightbulb Unanswered: One solution to Error 2001: "you canceled the previous operation"

I had a problem with the error 2001 and this site had a few postings about it that suggested it involved corrupted VB modules. I found another solution that took me 1 minute to fix....

I came accross a website that said that the error is actually mis-named! It should say "Data type mismatch in criteria expression" instead of "you canceled the previous operation". That was exactly my problem! No corrupted database, thank God!

Just thought you'd like to know..

    Dead on right

    Got the message.

Found nothing of value on the microsoft site.

Got here by googling the message text.

Derek is right on the money. My problem was a mismatched assignment.
