Red face Unanswered: Getting a form to open with the document

    I'm at it again...

Is there a way that I could get a form to open automatically when I open the document, so that it pops up as like a welcome screen before you click on anything else?

Sorry to be bothering everyone again!
    Thanks,
    Essbee.

If by "document" you mean .mdb/.mde, then look in TOOLS>>STARTUP>>DISPLAY FORM

    What's .mbd/.mde ?
By 'document' I mean the database itself...

I don't know if you've run the wizards you get on Access 97, but if you have then the book collection database has a switchboard screen that pops up when you open the database and minimises the management window (from where you can organize all your tables, forms, reports etc.)

I've got the line of code to make the window minimise itself, but I can't figure out which bit of it (if any) is the bit that tells it to open when you open the database.

    Does that help?

    Again, look in TOOLS>>STARTUP>>DISPLAY FORM.
