    Unanswered: Send Output From Query Analyzer to .RPT file

    Hi all
    I want to Send Output From Query Analyzer to a .rpt File automatically.
    I don't want to select a file to report the result because I want this operation to be as automatic as possible because. Is there a way or a command that could do this ?

    Checkout Books Online. You might also look up OSQL, the newer version of ISQL.

    Output to text

    Hi,

    Use isql or Osql command line utility to direct your output to any file.
    In case you have some record listing then U can use BCP utility with QUERYOUT parameter.

    best of luck

    To set an auto execution of OSQL you need to set a job. I see the simpliest way as to set a job that will execute your T-SQL script to the output( Browse your file):
    open the job->Steps tab->Edit or New-> Advanced tab->Output file.
