Question Unanswered: SQL server 2000 client configuration

    Can anybody help me?

i have setup odbc fine, connectivity is all ok, yet the
program i am using cant seem to access the sql db on my
server? i have a feeling that it is something to do with
client configuration tools, can anybody give me a fresh
link where i can download these and do a fresh install?
the reason i ask is because i cant get hold of the sql
disk for another couple of days as it is a msdn disk.

    thanks

Just confirming....you can get an ODBC connection from the client machine to the database server?
If so, does the program you want to use to connect to the database use a configuration file such as sql.ini? Sounds like this is where the problem might be.
