    Unanswered: Out of Memory Error in Oracle

    I have installed Oracle in my syatem which has the
    OS : WINDOWS 2000, after installation immedtaiely i can loggin through SQL plus, after restarting the machine i cannot log in. i am getting an error of "Shared memory problem". Please do help me....

    Make sure your database has started..
    (Look at the services)
    Probably it cannot find the SGA, that causes this error.

    I HAVE ALREADY STARTED THE DATA BASE AND TRIED THE SAME BUT STILL THE PROBLEM PERSIST. EXPECTING YOUR REPLY FOR THE SAME

    Cool

    Which Oracle services you have running? List all of them from the Services window.

    What is the Oracle error number you are getting after login attempt? List the number and the full error message text.

    What is your RAM and how much is available (paged) currently?

    If you expect help, please provide enough details so someone could eventually help you out.
