    Unanswered: Triggering the Query Builder

    In Access, is there a way to trigger the Query Builder as a dialog box and have it return a SQL string? I want to hook it into a function. I have a "..." button to the right of my txtSQL text box. OnClick of the button, I want to put something like the following:

    Private Sub cmdTrigger_Click()
        txtSQL = fRunQueryBuilder()
    End Sub

    Don't click here.

    Closest thing i could find was a command called "invokeBuilder". Not sure if that is even relavent but maybe it may lead you to what you're looking for in the help files. If checking syntax is not an issue then you might be able to get away with using just an inputbox.

    i.e. inputbox "", "", MySqlString

    If syntax is an issue then you'll need to build the logic to check syntax.
