    Unanswered: Is there such a char <> in DB2

    Hi I am trying to find the equivalent of the <> operator on DB2 ,

    is there such equivalent?

    It is exactly that <>. Are you having errors with it?

    Well guess what I am using DB2.17/FP3 (DB2 7.2) and
    the != is what I was looking for, the <> is giving me errors on my
    statements.

    Hi Maor71,

    if you are at the CLP, use quotes

    ei

    c:\> DB2 "Select * from test where col1<>1"
    or
    c:\> DB2 "Select * from test where col1!=1"
