    Cool

    Check this out: http://www.dbaclick.com/cgi-bin/ib3/...d3c6d23107ffff;act=ST;f=15;t=277

It passes the results from a query with FTP to some location. You can also use UTL_FILE.FOPEN, PUT, FCLOSE to write text data into datafile and then transfer it with FTP. You should be able to get the idea.

    Hope that helps,

    Thank you very much clio_usa,
....I think this is the right approach.
I have to develop this on a NT OS with Oracle 8.1.7.... and i've think
to substitute Unix Shell Scripts with a Java class that implements FTP.
Is this a good idea ? Does anyone know if there could be hidden problems ?
    What do you think ?

    Bye
