Unanswered: "database" data type not available in Dim statement popup help
In Access 2000, When declaring a variable when I say:
Dim myDb as ..., a list pops up which should have Database listed as one of the types so that I can refer to Database objects.
Well in my database it doesn't!
But if I start the database wizard from New, choose one of the templates to create a dtabase, and then try it, it works.
But if I start from a New blank database, and build it from scratch then it doesn't work.
While in you VB Window, look at your menu bar and choose the menu labeled Tools. Then choose References. Scroll down and find a library called Microsoft DAO 3.6 Object Library and place a check mark beside it. Restart access to make sure the reference is loaded (just in case).
