We have a new server (SBS2000) and an Access database that was running smoothly, even after the uppgrade from NT4.
Now the following is happening, at least once a day (sometimes twice) the backend file will stop responding to new requests - the users get an "Unrecognizable format" error. The users that are currently logged in are fine. All new users are unable to open.
To solve we must log every [peron out of the database. At that point we have to delete the ldb file and then open the file - repair - and then everyone can get back in again.
I am stumped to figure out what may cause this.
We have 2 users attaching via a VPN, then opening the database in a Citrix LAN window. Other users open directly from Citrix, and the remainder are directly on the LAN. Total is only 15 users or so.
