I'm hoping that one of you may be able to help me. I have a database which is a multiuser database. I'm having problems with one of the tables that is linked to two other databases. There is a record within the table that was deleted by an unknown user from which database I don't know. The problem is that the record was not deleted properly. The record now appears with "#delete" in each field:
| #delete | #delete | #delete |
When you try to delete or cut it, it just reappears within the database again. When you try to over write it an error appears saying that the record was deleted by another user.
Does anyone know how to delete or erase this record without creating another table as I am unsure how many databses use this table.
I need to erase this record as it is interferring with my VBA code.
Thank you in advance.
Looks like that record is damaged as if the record would have actually been deleted correctly it should have vanished after a requery. Try to run a compress/repair on the database file containing the table.
